Here is an article about a boy in the states who is a super genius and with proper guidance and support has been enabled to accomplish some amazing things in the area of nuclear physics. In the article it refers to David Hahn. There is an interesting documentary titled The Radioactive Boy-Scout which is a fascinating yet cautionary tale.
